Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders, such as opioid and heroin addictions. The Siletz Community Health Clinic offers Office Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) for Siletz Tribal members, other tribal members, and community members who are registered patients of our clinic. Our program uses a variety of medications to treat substance use disorder, such as Suboxone or Vivitrol. The MAT program works closely with the Alcohol Drug and Behavioral Health department at SCHC to provide comprehensive services utilizing the harm reduction method of treatment.
