Local residents may notice unusual law enforcement activity in the vicinity of the Siletz Tribal administration building next week, as the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assists the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians (CTSI) in conducting an active threat drill on the morning of Wednesday, June 26.
Sheriff’s deputies will run through multiple scenarios designed to test and evaluate CTSI’s written active threat response plans.
The CTSI main administration building will be closed for the duration of the exercise, but will re-open for regular business at 12:00 pm.
