The Veterans Coordinator office has relocated to the Admin II building, Room 125. Contact information remains the same, and can be found at the bottom of this page.

Siletz Veteran Services offers assistance to Tribal veterans by:

  • Assisting them obtain DD214 Discharge Documents;
  • Helping them enroll into the VA system;
  • Addressing housing concerns;
  • Connecting them with Tribal clinics; and
  • Other questions from Tribal Veterans and their families.

The Honor Guard has the privilege to lead Siletz Warriors and Veterans at the Grand Openings at all Siletz Pow-Wows and has been called upon by Native American and Governor’s Conferences to participate. Honor Guard also pays respects to Siletz Tribal Veterans when they pass on.

Tribal Veterans, please give a copy of your DD214 Discharge Document to Veteran Services so they can assist your family in the event of your passing. If you need help with these documents, call or email the number below.

Veteran Gift Boxes

We are pleased to share that the CTSI Veteran gift boxes are being mailed out once again this year. It is our honor to provide this small token of appreciation for your service, and we are grateful to Tribal Council for the opportunity to continue this meaningful tradition. Please note that boxes will be mailed in batches that our local post office can accommodate. If you are a veteran and do not receive a box, please contact Buster Lane at 541-444-8330 so we can ensure you are included in future events.

Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs

 The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Confederated Tribe of Siletz Indians to support the Tribe’s veterans and families.

Menopause Support Group

The Portland VA is hosting virtual support groups for women veterans, starting in January, April, July, and October. These groups meet virtually on Wednesdays from 1 – 2 PM, and last for four weeks.

“The Department of Veterans Affairs today announced that women Veterans can now schedule appointments directly with VA gynecology providers without a referral from a primary care provider.

“The new, streamlined process takes effect today and eliminates the previous requirement for a PCP referral to access VA gynecology care. Instead, enrolled women Veterans can schedule an appointment directly with a VA gynecology specialist if they choose.”
